The first 13 years of my life were very nomadic, we lived in a van travelling Australia with my family of 6. I was home-schooled until I was 13 by my mum, who was more into teaching us yoga, meditation and everything creative. There was very little focus on academics, just the basics. We often spent our days collecting things from nature to create works of art, wall hangings, mobiles, nature was our playground. My parents were very alternative free spirits; they lived in the moment and enjoyed life in the slow lane. We never had hot water or electricity, it was super simple living on the earth and we spent our days in the ocean and our nights by the fire. My upbringing definitely inspired my creativity and passion for sustainability and a plastic free lifestyle, my clothing label is the perfect outlet for me to create change in the industry and give women a sustainable option for beautiful clothing.
