I started off as an interior decorator, as from when i was a young girl I always had a passion for colour, texture and anything vibrant. Floristry felt really natural to me and after working with a friend in her shop a few times it all just came together and I found my calling!

What I love most is watching the reactions that people have when you make a delivery or they pick up their creation. I think because flowers are alive and natural, there’s freshness, they tell a story. If you look in a bare room and there’s nothing in there, and you put flowers in it, there’s no denying they instantly give it life.

I created an arrangement recently for a funeral for a grandma, I went into her garden and picked some of her beautiful orchids and created a casket arrangement unique to her personality, the flowers sat on her coffin and it was really special. Funerals are just as special as weddings to me. In fact making florals for anything that creates memories is amazing!
